Both the Pre-Order and Drop windows run 10–14 days. Fans place Pre-Orders. noone is charged unless the campaign reaches its goal. If the Demand Threshold isn't reached, payments aren't taken and nothing is printed. If the target is hit, Pre-Order copies ship as soon as book production is complete, so your earliest fans get the book before those ordering during the Drop.

FAQ
What's the catch? Why is it free?
We only earn when your book sells – same side of the table as you. And the Pre-Order campaign is conditional: fans commit first, and nobody is charged unless it reaches its goal – so neither of us gambles on success.
Am I locked in?
Our standard license term is 24 months, renewing as desired. During that window we sell the book on our platform. Everything else stays completely yours the entire time – your name, your characters, your content, and any other project – and we can never make sequels or anything else without a new agreement with you.
What rights do I give you?
Only what's needed to develop, publish, and sell this one agreed book during the partnership term. You keep your name, your likeness, your content, and anything else you make. We can't make sequels, spin-offs, or anything else without a new agreement with you. One book, one clearly defined partnership – no claim over anything else you create.
Who owns the book?
You own your IP – we own the files we produce, like a photographer owns their negatives. If you ever walk away, everything that was yours comes back unencumbered.
Will my audience want the book?
That's exactly what the Pre-Order campaign finds out – a 2-week window where nobody's charged a cent unless it reaches its goal. If not enough fans hear about it, or it doesn't quite gel with them enough, neither of us are out of pocket.
I have a manager.
Great – send them this page. We're happy to walk through everything with them directly.
What kind of content makes a book?
Almost any content with an audience that keeps coming back. We study what you post, what resonates, and why – then derive a concept from it. Humor, expertise, pets, journeys, professions, communities: the shape of the book comes from the shape of your content.
How much work is it for me?
It varies by creator. Some creators provide reference photos and source material, others just give feedback on proposed concepts. You'll need to approve each production milestone. We handle the production and operational workload – but the launch posts are yours.
What will the book cost my fans?
We work with you on pricing. Standard editions might land around $55 for US Letter sized hardcover. Less for softcover. Final prices depend on your preferences, brand, content, and page count. It is hard to charge below $40 due to the high cost of premium printing.
What if my campaign doesn't reach its goal?
Then nobody is charged, nothing is printed, and the project ends there – that's the point of the goal. It protects your fans, you, and us from a book without real demand.
Can you make other merch for me?
Actually, we used to do this across multiple platforms and we have the skills and the experience to do so, but no. CreatorToMarket is a publishing studio. We make beautiful coffee table books with streamlined workflows that no-one else can replicate.
